Workspaces Overview
Manage teams, clients, and permissions with workspaces.
Workspaces are how you organise your team and clients in posterly. Every account belongs to a workspace.
Key concepts
- Workspace — A shared space for your team. Contains accounts, posts, and settings.
- Members — Team members with assigned roles (Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer).
- Client / Group — Sub-containers within a workspace for organising accounts by client or brand.
- Guest reviewers — External clients who can review and approve posts via a unique link.
Roles and permissions
| Role | Create posts | Edit posts | Delete posts | Manage accounts | Manage members | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Owner | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Admin | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | ✗ |
| Editor | ✓ | ✓ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ |
| Viewer | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ | ✗ |
Client approval flows
- Create a Client / Group in your workspace settings
- Assign social accounts to that client group
- When a post is ready for review, click Send for Approval in the post modal
- The client receives a guest link to review, approve, or request changes
- Approved posts proceed to publish; rejected posts return to your drafts
Per-client timezones
Each client group can have its own timezone. When scheduling posts for that client, the calendar and time picker will use their timezone automatically.
