Post Composer

The composer is where you create, preview, and schedule posts across all your connected platforms.

Creating a post

1. Go to Composer or press C P from anywhere
2. Select one or more accounts to post to
3. Write your caption — or use AI Captions to generate one
4. Attach images, videos, or carousels
5. Choose a date and time, or click Next available to find an open slot
6. Click Schedule or Post Now

Multi-platform posting

Select multiple accounts and posterly will validate your content against each platform's requirements (character limits, media formats, aspect ratios). Platform-specific warnings appear inline.

Media support

• Images: JPG, PNG, WebP. Automatically resized per platform.
• Videos: MP4, MOV. Duration and size limits vary by platform.
• Carousels: Up to 10 images for Instagram, up to 20 for LinkedIn.
• Cover images: Set a custom video cover/thumbnail.

Content types

Depending on the platform, you can create:

• Standard posts (text + media)
• Reels and Shorts
• Stories and Story Series
• X Threads
• Threads threads
• Pinterest Pins

Scheduling options

• Pick a date/time — Manual date and time picker with timezone support
• Next available slot — Finds the next open slot respecting a 1-hour gap between posts
• Post now — Publishes immediately
• Save as draft — Saves without scheduling
