Social media MCP pricing checker

You want agents to schedule and read analytics, but vendor pages either bury MCP or wave at "AI integrations" without a clear fee. This checker answers: which schedulers include MCP in the plan price, which charge an add-on, and which still need verify?

Prices as of 15 September 2026.

Verify before you publish. Numbers are public list prices from dated studies (research notes 15 September 2026). Re-check vendor sites before you buy or publish a citation.

Four states only: included, paid add-on, entitlement verify, and endpoint-only. An MCP label is not a tool catalogue score.

How to use

  1. Choose the vendors you care about, or leave the default set from the MCP study (Posterly, Buffer, PostEverywhere, Schedulin, plus peers marked verify where useful).
  2. Optionally set an account count (5 or 10) so the checker can show scheduling-only versus agent-enabled totals where the snapshot has both.
  3. Read the MCP state for each row. The checker uses exactly four states: included, paid add-on, entitlement verify, endpoint-only.
  4. Open the linked study if you need method, sources, or tool-depth caveats. Do not treat a label as a tool catalogue score.

How to read the result

The four states are not interchangeable.

StateMeaning
IncludedPublic plan copy lists MCP (or equivalent agent server) inside the monthly price
Paid add-onBase scheduling is sold separately; MCP has a published surcharge
Entitlement verifyMarketing or peer notes mention agents, but plan gates are unclear
Endpoint-onlyAn MCP URL or tool-count claim exists without enough plan detail; still verify; do not invent a fee

Caveats:

  • Included MCP is not automatically better. It simplifies the bill. It does not prove identical tools, rate limits, media handling, or network coverage. Compare depth on PostEverywhere vs Posterly when surface matters.
  • Posterly MCP is an add-on, not bundled into base plans: +$3 Starter/Pro, +$5 Power, +$29 Agency in the notes. See MCP and pricing.
  • SociaHive is automation-led category context, not a like-for-like scheduler. If the picker shows it, keep the entitlement as verify and point to SociaHive vs Posterly.
  • Posterly does not offer Autopilot. MCP is for agents within plan limits, not set-and-forget publishing of everything.
  • For wider all-in cost without duplicating MCP treatment, use the cheapest social media scheduler 2026 guide.

FAQ

Is MCP included in Posterly base plans?

No. In the research notes MCP is a paid add-on: +$3 on Starter and Pro, +$5 on Power, +$29 on Agency.

Which schedulers list MCP as included?

In the 15 September 2026 snapshot, Schedulin and PostEverywhere list MCP as included on the researched plans. Buffer, SociaHive plan entitlement, and several endpoint claims remain verify.

Can an endpoint URL be treated as full MCP pricing?

Not as equals. An MCP URL without plan gates, tool lists, and limits stays in the endpoint-only bucket until verified. Do not invent a surcharge.

How should I compare PostEverywhere or SociaHive next?

Use PostEverywhere vs Posterly for included-MCP peers with fewer platforms in the notes. Use SociaHive vs Posterly when the product is automation-led rather than scheduler-led. Method detail stays on the MCP pricing study.
