Client approval workflow
Client sign-off without the email ping-pong
Send scheduled posts to your clients for approval on a review page branded with your agency logo. They sign in with just their email, see live platform previews, and approve in one tap. Nothing publishes until they do.
Included on Pro plans and above. No client seats, ever.
From draft to approved in three steps
The whole loop lives in one place: your team schedules, your client approves, posterly publishes.
Send posts for approval
From the composer or a content plan, send any post to a client group for sign-off. Add a team note so your client knows what to look at.
Your client opens their review page
They get an email invite, verify with a one-time code, and land on a review page that carries your agency logo. No account, no password, no training call.
Approve, request changes, or comment
Live platform previews show exactly what will publish. Decisions flow straight back to your dashboard, and approved posts publish on schedule automatically.
Everything client sign-off needs, nothing it doesn't
No approval chains to configure, no per-reviewer seats to buy. Invite a reviewer and send posts.
Email sign-in, no client accounts
Clients verify with a one-time code and stay signed in for 30 days. Lost the invite? They enter their email on the review page and get a new code.
Live platform previews
Reviewers see each post exactly as it will appear on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and every other connected platform, not a spreadsheet row.
Bulk approve
One tap approves everything still waiting. A month of content gets signed off in the time it takes to read it.
Comments at any stage
Clients can comment before or after a decision, and request changes with feedback attached. No more approval threads buried in email.
Publishing stays gated
Posts sent for approval cannot publish until approved. Edit an approved post and it automatically goes back for fresh sign-off.
Full decision history
Every approval, change request, and comment is recorded against the post, visible to your team in the dashboard. Sign-off you can point to.
Your logo on the page
White-label the review page with your agency logo from workspace settings. Your clients see your brand, not ours.
Per-client timezones
Every time on the review page is shown in the client’s own timezone, so "Thursday 9am" means their Thursday, not yours.
Built for phones
A post-by-post flow with a sticky Approve bar and automatic advance to the next post waiting. Most approvals happen from an email tap on a phone.
Paying for Planable or Loomly just for approvals?
Approval-first tools charge per user for collaboration and leave you scheduling somewhere else. posterly includes client approvals with scheduling, AI captions in each client's voice, and 11 platforms, from $15/mo, with no per-reviewer pricing.
Client approval FAQs
Do my clients need a posterly account to approve posts?
No. Clients sign in to the review page with just their email address, verified by a one-time 6-digit code or a one-click link, and stay signed in on that device for 30 days. There are no client seats to pay for and no passwords for them to forget.
Can a post publish before the client approves it?
No. Once a post is sent for approval, publishing is blocked until the client approves it. If a client approves after the scheduled time has passed, posterly queues the post for immediate publishing so nothing silently slips.
What happens if I edit a post after the client approved it?
posterly detects the change, moves the post back to pending, and notifies the reviewer that it needs a fresh sign-off. Clients always approve the version that actually publishes.
Can I put my agency logo on the review page?
Yes. Upload your logo in workspace settings and the review page shows it to your clients in place of the posterly workspace name.
Can clients approve from their phone?
Yes. The review page is built for phones first: clients step through posts one at a time with a sticky Approve bar, and the page automatically advances to the next post waiting on them. Bulk approve clears a whole batch in one tap.
What can a reviewer actually do?
Approve, request changes, reject, and comment. Comments work at any stage, even after a decision, and every action is recorded in a review history that your team sees in the dashboard next to the post.
How is this different from Planable or Loomly?
Planable and Loomly focus on multi-step internal approval chains for marketing teams. posterly focuses on fast client sign-off: one branded page where the client approves, requests changes, or comments. It is included on Pro plans and above rather than priced as a separate collaboration product.
Which plans include client approvals?
The client approval portal is included on Pro, Power User, and Agency plans. The Agency plan adds 30 client groups, 100 connected accounts, and per-client timezone scheduling.
